EFI Live is a scanning and tuning tool for many 1998 to present-year GM automobiles and Duramax diesels. The scanning part monitors the ECU (Engine Control Unit) in real time while the tuning part lets you tune almost every possible aspect of your engines fuel and spark needs.

The EFI Live Scan Tool enables you to monitor the ECU (Engine Control Unit) in real time. The tool's easy setup and wide array of tools make data collection easy. The EFILive scanning tool has the following features:

- Select what to scan from over 350 parameters ("PIDs") or create your own. Name and Save PID selections for faster and easier setups

The EFILive Scan and Tune Tool enables you to take all the information you've learned about your car and optimize its tune. Tune almost every possible aspect of your engines ECM. This includes fuel, spark, automatic transmission shift tables, disabling annoying trouble codes, correcting for different tires and gears and much more. The tuning tool is easy to use-locating and modifying the necessary tables is a breeze. And as you'd expect in a professional tool of this caliber, all of the tables and settings you'll need to tune your car are provided, including a series of free custom tunes for most 2001 and up cars. These custom tunes support things like:
- Boosted applications - Replace the stock 1 bar sensor with a 2 or 3 bar GM sensor with no loss of VE table resolution
- Valet mode - Lets you add a hidden switch that limits the RPM or MPH
- MAF less operation - Run in Speed Density mode for absolute control over fuel
- Dual spark map - Keeps adaptive spark control operational even after MAF is removed.
And for most 1999 or 2000 year cars, all you need to do to take advantage of the features afforded by the custom tunes is replace your OS with a compatible 2001 custom OS.
The EFILive FlashScan v1.2 Interface Module enables you to scan and tune any 2 supported vehicles or scan any supported vehicle. External inputs for wide band oxygen controllers let you log Air/Fuel ratios with no effect on scan speed. And connect an EGT sensor to the K-Type Cold Junction Compensated Thermocouple input and log it with no effect on scan speed as well. Scan up to 20 minutes of data into the Module's flash memory, or connect it to a laptop and scan up to 5000 hours of data onto your hard disk.
The FlashScan V1.2 Interface Module:
- Allows scanning any supported vehicle
- Allows programming any 2 supported vehicles. Program up to 23 more vehicles for a small additional per vehicle charge.
The Commercial FlashScan module allows scanning and programming an unlimited number of supported vehicles.
The EFILive FlashScan v2 Interface Module does everything the v1.2 module does plus a lot more! With the FlashScan v2 Interface Module, you can now scan a whole racing session for post race analysis, or scan a whole road trip to analyze and help improve your gas mileage without having to connect to a laptop thanks to the large amount of built-in memory and the ability to add MMC Flash memory. Moreover, a built-in user interface allows you to perform many operations without a computer.
