The contents of this zip file are to enable you to recover a botched upgrade of FlashScan units containing Boot Block versions prior to 2.05.08.

Follow these instructions exactly as follows and your Flashscan should be up and working in 10 minutes or less.

Put the FlashScan into dead poll mode by holding down the Ctrl key on the FlashScan while plugging in the USB cable.

Open up EFILive Explorer and bring up the Firmware tab.

Click the button with 3 dots just above the Program button and find the file from this zip named FSProgV2_05_15(0326).efw.

Click Open and then Program.

When programming finishes you will likely get an error which you should clear. Just ignore it, it's meaningless.

Look at your FlashScan and see if it wants you to press OK to upgrade, follow the instruction on the FlashScan until you get back to the main menu

Next, click the button with 3 dots and select the file from this zip named FSBootV2_05_08(0426).efw

Click Open and then Program.

When this finishes your Flashscan should be in dead poll mode

Next, click the button with 3 dots and select the file from this zip named FSProgV2_05_21.efw

Click Open and then Program.

When programming finishes Click the Refresh button and make sure you have bootblock 2.05.08 and firmware 2.05.21

If so, bring up the EFILive Control Panel, it hides in the lower right corner near the clock, click on Firmware and then press the refresh button. It should indicate that the Firmware is OK and the bootblock needs upgrading, if so upgrade the boot block.

Next click Refresh and if so indicated, upgrade the firmware. 

Your FlashScan should now be up to date.
